End of First Semester

It is funny how fast time flies by. Thursday after my 8 am final I will officially be able to say I am done with my third semester of college! I will have obtained 50 credit hours of college credits. I will lose yet a tiny more of my sanity! This semester has been a great one, I live on a great floor and have had great classes. This semester will mark nearly the end of general education classes (the rest will be taken at Rock Valley College except one more here next year) and the beginning of even more teacher education classes. I have taken my first test toward becoming a teacher and getting into the teacher education program here at WIU and passed and next semester will be applying to get accepting in to the Teacher Ed. Program! I have had a great semester with my two groups Association of Bilingual/Bicultural Education Students and Students Helping Honduras and look forward to another semester with them.
My trip to Honduras is coming closer; only 17 more days till I leave, and I am getting very excited. I wanted to thank all of you that were willing to support me in anyway that you did, it is greatly appreciated! I will be posting updates while I am there on here that way I can reach multiple people at once instead of individual emails since it will be busy there.
I hope everyone is well and that they are getting excited for the holidays! I know I am! I can't wait to be home and see everyone and celebrate!
Time is flying by me so fast and it is so crazy. This being said I will close with this quote: Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you. ~Carl Sandburg
